 For New Players

First off, welcome to this site! This web page will provide you with the basic information you need to know about this site, to play here.

*What is this site? - A moderated chat, that is themed on a gaming system created by White-Wolf gaming studios. The gaming systems here, have rules and are published in a series of books per system. You will NEED these books to play on this site. We play on the World of Darkness, 3rd edition Systems : Vampire the Masquerade, Kindred of the East, and more!

 ALL players and Staff are required to be knowledgeable about the game they play in!

*How do I play here? - First, you must have the gaming books for the kind of game you want to play on this site. Below is a list, in order, of what you need to do to play here.

1.  Create your character, according to the rules in the books and the rules established on this site. The rules on this site, per system (vampire, werewolf, wraith, etc)  can be found on the 'character creation' pages. The rules that apply to ALL systems can be found on the 'House Rules' page.
2.  Submit your character via form, for approval by the games Storyteller / ST / DM.
3.  Wait for the ST to contact you via Email, concerning your sheet. If you made your character properly according to site and book rules the approval process will be very quick. Please do not "play test" your character. Only APPROVED characters are allowed to play.
4.  Register on the 'forum', and the chat - and then go play! On the chat, please use your character name as your log in.

*How many characters many I have? - 5 characters total.

*How much EXP a month does my character earn automatically? - Each character will receive 8 exp a month. STs will award additional exp to players for RP and scenes. Additionally, you can record your own scene (copy and paste) and email the scene into to your venue ST for exp.

*May I have a transfer character?  No, transfers ended Feb 1st, 2006.

 Our site, is a smaller more personal setting. We do not wish to have many characters with a lot of exp on their sheets as this off balances the entire system. Gaming is not a race to collect dots. Characters should not be perfect, and you should have something to struggle and work towards.

 We find that sheets that have an over abundance of exp, are very limited. These sheets have fewer challenges, and less to work towards. EXP is a reward on this site, not something you generate automatically. By allowing sheets into the sheet with high exp, we lose the reward system.
